Daya Vieja has a dry and sunny climate and has very little rainfall and almost 3,000 hours of sun a year. Fiestas

The most important festivities are the Patron Saint Festivities, in honour of San Miguel Arcángel. They are held between the 20th and 30th of September, with numerous events characterised by the participation of the citizens such as: parades, popular street parties, parade of floats, children’s games, sports activities, various exhibitions and religious events, ending with the solemn procession in honour of the exalted patron saint San Miguel Arcángel and the magnificent "alborada" (dawn).
